EVMax Overview
EVMax is a project cost management software tool for project control teams for the planning, execution, monitor and control, and close out phases of project.
- Share data with BOEMax. This is the easiest way to create a new project and quickly establish the budget data in EVMax because you are importing the complete data structure, calendar, rates, resource structure, bills of material (BOMs), time phased cost estimate data, and documentation. The cost estimate data becomes the budget data in EVMax. Using BOEMax and EVMax together is also the best way to maintain the budget data for the life of the project using the built-in workflow process to manage your changes. That way BOEMax automatically maintains a historical archive of the changes to the original budget.
- Create and maintain a single source for time phased budget, earned value, actual cost, and estimate to complete cost data as well as resource requirements, financial data, and performance metrics in a central database.
- Excel like interface to enter hours, FTEs, or direct costs. Use sort and filter controls to create individual views so team members can focus on just their work effort. The entire team can easily budget their work or forecast what it will take to complete the remaining work.
- Built-in rich text capability for documenting basis of estimate (BOE) rationale, quantifiable backup data for claiming earned value, or other documents for variance analysis all in one place.
- Integrate with MS Project and Oracle Primavera P6. Use the resource loaded schedule activity data as the basis for the budget baseline, claiming earned value, and estimate to complete to ensure the schedule and cost data are always in sync.
- Customizable workflows to route change control and work authorization forms to role specific users for accountability and traceability with signature sign off and version control. Project teams maintain historical traceability as approved changes are merged into the budget plan.
- Central database and built-in reporting functions for producing standard cost management reports compliant with government contracting standards such as the Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) or Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR). Quickly produce ad-hoc reports. With a central database, the data are fully traceable from the top down or bottom up.
- Single or cross project reporting and analysis. Quickly establish a library of standard reports using built-in reporting functions and ad-hoc pivot tables to easily produce a variety of project and performance data views or reports.
